Join Security Betwen Australia And Indonesia

Australia and Indonesia plan to declare together about the join security on Australia, RI hold defense dialogue.

A delegation of students from the Australian Defence College's Centre for Defence and Strategic Studies met their counterparts at the Indonesian National Resilience Institute (Lemhannas) on Tuesday to discuss regional security issues such as global warming, natural disasters and transnational crime.

This is the first dialog of the two agencies following the signing of an MOU on cooperation aimed to closer relations in the sector of education.

The talks, according to Australian Ambassador to Indonesia, Bill Farmer, will enable future leaders of the two countries to develop joint understanding on security questions in the region.
"We feel honored and are pleased that Australia is the first foreign country invited by Lemhannas to send a participant to a regular course next year," the ambassador said.
