Japan needs 1,000 nurses and caregivers for the next two years, according to chairman of the National Agency for the Placement and Protection of Indonesian Workers (BNP2TKI) M. Jumhur Hidayat.
Jumhur Hidayat said that He have signed an MOU to this effect under a program named Indonesia-Japan Economic Partnership Agreement,” he appreciated Japan for giving the opportunity for employing skilled workers from Indonesia.
Of the 1,000 needed for the next two years, 400 are nurses and 600 are caregivers for the aged.
Year of 2008 about of 500 labour will go to Japan and they comprise 200 nurses and 300 caregivers,” said Jumhur Hidayat.
Who the Indonesians interesting this programs to be a nurse or caregiver in Japan should contact BNP2TKI at Jl. MT Haryono, Kav 52, south Jakarta or BP3TKI: Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung, Yogyakarta and Medan.
